Safety
A safe event is a fun event! Safety always comes first because we take your child's safety seriously. We will carefully explain the safety rules of the bounce house before releasing it for use. If you are not using one of our attendants, a qualified operator (16 years or older) must be present when we set up the bounce house, receive safety training, and agree to abide by the safety rules. We will point out the unique safety features of our bounce house(s) and answer any questions you have.
Bounce House Safety Rules

General Operation
  • Do not use the bounce house during rain. The jump surface is very slippery when wet.
  • If the wind becomes excessive (20mph) during operation, remove all bouncers immediately and deflate the bounce house, per the instructions provided.
  • If anchors come loose during operation, cease operation and call 859.802.1386.
  • DO NOT leave the bounce house unattended during operation (while children are inside) for any reason.
  • Do not attempt to move the bounce house or blower once it is set up. We set up the bouncer and secure it so that everything is as safe as possible.
  • If the blower motor stops have the children calmly exit the bounce house while you help them out.

Prior to entering the bounce house, all bouncers must:
  • Remove shoes.
  • Remove eyeglasses, jewelry, and any hard or sharp objects.
  • Empty their pockets before entering the bounce house. Big Top Amusement and Party Rental is not responsible for articles lost during operation of the bounce house.
  • Review the safety rules posted on the bounce house.

Entering the bounce house:
  • Bouncers should be grouped according to age and size.
  • Bouncers should enter and exit the bounce house from a sitting position.

Inside the bounce house:
  • Absolutely NO flips (to protect the neck), wrestling, or other forms of rough housing are allowed in the bounce house.
  • Absolutely NO food, drink, gum or silly string inside the bounce house. If this occurs, the renter will be assessed an additional $50 charge per the rental agreement.
  • Do not run and/or bounce against the walls of the bounce house.
  • Do not bounce any closer than two feet from each other or two feet from the door.
  • Do not run or jump through the door of the bounce house.
  • Do not climb or hang from the interior or exterior of the bounce house.
Bouncers not following the safety rules should be asked to leave the bounce house.
